Because, like you said, from these tribulations a gift is given. You mentioned having hypoglycemia... from what I have found and been researching the best thing to stabilize blood sugar is to cut out most carbs (besides vegetables and some fruits) and eat plenty of protein and healthy fat (coconut oil, butter and olive oil). While you don't have diabetes, there is a section on hypo and hyperglycemia that are good to read:<BR/><BR/>http://www.westonaprice.org/moderndiseases/diabetes.html<BR/><BR/>Also if you peruse the weston a price site you will find some great ideas for healthy foods and you can even search for blood sugar, hypoglycemia, etc. I know that good beef can be expensive, but I can get grassfed for $2.99/lb (burger) so that's what I always get and we stretch it with beans and veggies.
