Why do the weekends go so fast? Wow. Last week we had to make a couple of changes. The Saucy BBQ Sloppy Joes and the Tex-Mex Chicken were hits. I'll be baking them again. I had the wrong date for the cookout so Tuesday was a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants kind of day. Friday I was not in the mood to cook so we ordered pizza. Saturday I played the part of hostess; a luncheon for a friend's birthday and then had another family over for dinner and to watch the KSU v. KU basketball game. This week here's the plan:
Monday - Breakfast for Dinner: scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, sliced pears
Tuesday - Grilled Cheese, Vegetable Beef Soup (from the freezer)
Wednesday - Parmesan Chicken, Roasted Potatoes, Vegetable
Thursday - Tuna Melts, Hashbrowns, Vegetable
Friday - Homemade Pizza
Baking for the Week: Snickerdoodle Cookies, Blueberry Muffins, Blueberry Coffee Cake
We may have to switch a couple of days around due to a choir concert, state high school basketball game and religion class. No matter though because I now have a plan. Have a great week!
