Anyone want to go for a dip?

Taking a dip in lake waters in February sounds crazy doesn't it? Well, it is but that's exactly what Lawman did today. All for a good cause. It was the annual Polar Plunge to raise funds for Special Olympics. This is the 3rd year that Lawman has participated in this event.

Lucky for him, it was a nice day today. Air temp at noon was 64 and water temp was 40. Still too cold for me but then again, I'm a wimp.

Folks go all out for this. Some do it for fun, some do it with co-workers, others do it just to say they've done it. Anything goes; costumes, swimsuits & trunks, shorts & t's, you name it. Just take a look at some of the pics below and you'll see what I mean. Even the local university mascot showed up and led us in a cheer.
