I know summer is here by the number of hours we've spent at the pool this week.
I'm not the swim team member. Just a parent volunteer and I've been at the pool 8 1/2 hours in 4 days.
I know summer is here by the number of wet beach towels and suits found in the bathroom.
They're always there. Always.
I know summer is here by the additional loads of towels I wash every week.
This is my least favorite part of summer. I hate it. And before you ask, yes, they are used more than once.
I know summer is here by the increase in appetite.
It is to be expected. She did 42 laps in an hour on the first day of practice. Wouldn't you be hungry?
I know summer is here by the additional time spent with friends we don't see in the winter.
Catching up with all the friends that we only see on the pool deck in the summer. Such a nice change.
I love summer. Even with the wet, dirty towels.

Glad to hear you are enjoying the summer weather! Don't forget your sunscreen.. : ))
hehe, i was going to ask if you used them more than once. do you hang them on the line? i get the same thing here and we just hang ours up on the line or on the railing till the next day. at least i don't have to see them 24/7 :)
my girls have recently taken to swimming. we've switched off now from lessons to just plain swim time. do you ever just sniff the towels before you put them in the washer?
i love that pool smell.
