It's been hot as blue blazes here. Literally. Sunday, just 35 miles east of us the heat index was 120 degrees. Fortunately, here, we were a mere 112. Due to the intense heat, it's not unusual to have a few storms pop-up. That's what happened today. I spotted this on my way home from work. Such a cool sight. Just like a giant mushroom.

Dang...and I thought it was hot here! We've only hit 104 so far this year...but it can get as high as 115. SO GROSS. It's beautiful this week though...in the 80's and breezy...like heaven.
