beef. it's what's for dinner.


and maybe breakfast and lunch too before all is said and done. our freezer is well stocked.

lawman picked up our beef today. 1/4th of a cow, grass fed, raised in the flint hills by my brother, the rancher. doesn't get much more local than that.

lawman says we're having steaks on the grill before the week is out.

i know you know - but cook it slow and low.

we are almost out of our last 1/4 cow. my family loves their beef.

We do the same thing! We get ours from my uncle out of his personal herd. We LOVE our beef too!

I wish I could get 1/4 of a cow! I don't know where to get it though..I tried one organic meat farm, but the beef wasn't very good...
