little bowl of sunshine

By the end of last week I'd had more than enough days of sub-zero temperatures and snow drifts. So, I took matters into my own hands. I bought a pineapple. A fresh pineapple. Cut it up and made myself a little bowl of sunshine.

I felt better after having a few slices of nature's candy. Tasted just like summer.

What do you do when you've had your fill of winter?

That fresh pineapple looks so good!

Lately when I've walked into the grocery store, I've been craving fruits and vegetables. I think it's because I'm dehydrated from all the dry air, especially from sitting in front of my bff space heater!

Yeah, I think fresh fruit helps one survive winter. And - a pineapple a day keeps the scurvy away!

As bad as they are, Tanning Bed!!! I don't stay in long, or go everyday but man they really do help. Psychologists recommend them or grow bulbs in lights for people with seasonal affected disorder... so i've been told.

That looks delicious!!!

I live in Colorado and winter seems to last a long time here. Thankfully we have lots of warm, sunny days mixed in between the snow/cold. When we do I try to get ouside and enjoy! It makes it all a little more tolerable.
