Compassion International is sponsoring a mission trip to Uganda. They've sent 16 Christian bloggers there to experience it first hand and then share it on their blog sites. BooMama and Rocks in my Dryer are there as I write this.
I don't personally know either BooMama or Rocks but I have been a lurker on their blogs for several months and have developed a real connection. These women are posting daily about their trip. It's a slice of the world that most of us have never seen and may very well never experience first hand. It's enough to make me rethink my comfortable existence.
