why didn't i think of this sooner?


Pouring cake batter into a measuring cup with a spout makes it much easier, not to mention less messy, to transfer the batter to the baking cups.

If that is going to have chocolate icing on it...I'm SOLD. Great idea..btw. I have a big mixing bowl with a pour spout that I could actually USE instead of dripping it all over the place with a spoon. Duh..

That technique works for pancakes and waffles, too.

And, a disher/ice cream scoop with a tiny swing arm release makes easy work of portioning cookies.
